Colleen works with the Business Development and Marketing team to design marketing materials, organize events, and build connections with customers and industry partners.

“One of my first events was the annual Earth Day Electronics Recycling Drive,” Colleen said. “There were many moving parts to the day—and it was great to see it all come together successfully, to see the cohesion of our team, and to hang out with everyone here and get to know them better.”

TEAM PLAYER

Teamwork is second nature to Colleen, who was recruited by Wilmington College (Ohio) to play basketball. Knee injuries cut her collegiate career short, but Colleen supported her team from the sidelines as a Student Assistant Coach. “No matter what, I wanted to support my team,” she reflected.

I work with an all-around great group of individuals, and that makes the work worthwhile.

Dedication to a common mission is a focus Colleen also found at Integrated Building Systems.

“Everyone here truly gets it—they understand our mission and want to do a great job. I work with an all-around great group of individuals, and that makes the work worthwhile,” Colleen said. “It’s a great thing to be a part of!”

GEMINI GENES

Colleen’s career choice (communications) just happens to be a classic strength of her Gemini horoscope, which she admits to reading every day. “I don’t believe it—but I have to read it just in case it comes true, you know?” she laughed.

Geminis are also known to be original, resourceful, charming, and adventurous. “I’d call myself unique, quirky, open. I’m not your typical person—I’m weird. Most people find it endearing,” she explained with a broad smile.

FAMILY FOCUS

The second youngest of five siblings (she has two brothers and two sisters), Colleen grew up in a multi-generational home and still lives within 15 minutes of everyone in her immediate family. “We all have a sentimental connection,” Colleen said. “I really can’t live without them.”

Colleen’s professional experience reflects a family focus, too. As a Lead Photographer for HR Imaging Partners, Inc., Colleen captured special memories for thousands of schoolchildren; as Director of Health and Wellness at the Delaware Community Center YMCA, she organized programs and special events to benefit area families.
