As 2019 winds down, we reflect on the year’s partnerships, growth, and technology expertise.
#1 Partnerships
In 2019, Integrated Building Systems marked 26 years in Central Ohio. If you live or work in the area, you know that Columbus is a great place for families and businesses. The economy is strong, construction is booming, and the city’s reputation as a high-tech center is growing.
But most importantly, the people in Central Ohio are friendly and open to new opportunities—they truly want to work together, solve problems, and develop partnerships. We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive and thriving business community.
An important measure of the success of our partnerships is our percentage of repeat clients. In 2019, 72% of the businesses we served had worked with us before. To us, that is a strong signal of their trust in our team’s expertise and quality of work.
#2 Growth
In order to meet our clients’ growing needs—especially for audio-visual solutions, we added four new people to our team this year.
We also doubled the number of visitors to our Tech Studios. These idea-inspiring showrooms feature A/V, security, and other IT systems. Touring the Tech Studios helps business owners envision the technology options for their office space, create a budget, and make decisions about what they want and need.
#3 Expertise
Integrated Building Systems offers a one-stop technology resource for our clients, including A/V, cabling, wireless networks, sound masking, and security systems.
The foundation for every technology solution (even for “wireless”) is the structured cabling system. As of 2019, our portfolio now includes over 13 million feet (and growing daily) of copper and fiber installations.
In 2019, we made buildings smarter and safer. Our team has now completed nearly 90 emergency responder radio system projects.
